St. Stanislaus Kostka Council #12423

St. Stanislaus Kostka Council #12423 of the Knights of Columbus was founded to promote charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism within the parish of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church and surrounding Bay City community. From our very beginnings, we have focused on charitable fundraising and service, supporting the youth of our parish and community, protectng the unborn, and standing side-by-side with those in religious vocations.

Council #12423 operates under the motto, "In Service to One. In Service to All." We are firmly committed to making a difference in our community, and letting our actions speak for themselves. And they do! Our Council is routinely recognized for our active and diverse programs, as well as our charitable efforts and membership growth. Our visible example of Christian service within our community allows us to attract even more Catholic gentlemen to our ranks, thereby increasing the impact we can have through our service.

Who Are the Knights of Columbus?

From its humble beginnings in 1882, the Knights have grown to more than 1.8 million members at 15,000 councils around the world. In 2009 alone, Brother Knights donated more than $110 million to charitable causes, and volunteered over 56 million hours of community service.

Knights are also active in the public arena, defending the rights of the unborn and those of Christian faith in an increasing secular society. Within the Church, the Knights are dedicated to the support of the priesthood and religious vocations, and reverance for the Holy Eucharist.

Keeping true to its roots, the Knights continue to protect the health and financial well-being of Catholic families through its optional Insurance program. Total insurance in force exceeds $77 billion, and the program is perrenially awarded top ratings for insurers in the United States from Standard & Poor (AA+) and AM Best (A++).
